Our story
Buying and selling a small website, app, or game used to mean scattered Discord DMs, sketchy wire transfers, and hoping the other side actually delivers. Siterifty exists to fix that: one place to list what you've built, one place to browse what's for sale, and an escrow system that holds funds until both sides are satisfied.
We started with websites, then added apps and games as more indie builders wanted a proper marketplace instead of a spreadsheet of leads. Today Siterifty is a single home for anyone who builds small digital products and eventually wants to sell them — or anyone who'd rather buy something proven than start from zero.

1. Using Siterifty
By creating an account you agree to use Siterifty only for legitimate buying and selling of websites, apps, and games. You must be able to legally transfer whatever you list, and you're responsible for the accuracy of your listing details — financials, tech stack, and delivery method included.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your region, to buy, sell, or hold funds on Siterifty.
2. Listings & deals
Sellers are responsible for delivering exactly what was listed, using the transfer method stated on the listing. Buyers are responsible for reviewing listing details before paying. Once a deal is marked complete by both sides, funds are released and the transaction is final except in the case of an approved dispute.
Listings must represent real, working assets you own or are authorized to sell.
Misrepresenting revenue, traffic, or ownership is grounds for account suspension.
Templates must be labeled as templates, not as unique/custom builds.
3. Escrow & fees
Buyer funds are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery or the dispute window closes. Siterifty deducts a marketplace fee from completed sales; the current fee schedule is shown at checkout before you confirm a deal, so there are no surprise deductions.
Boosted listings, subscription plans, and any add-on purchase are billed separately from escrow and are described in full at the point of purchase.
4. Prohibited conduct
No fraudulent listings, fake financials, or stolen assets.
No circumventing escrow by moving payment off-platform.
No harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward other users or support.
No listing of malware, illegal content, or assets that infringe someone else's rights.
Violations can lead to listing removal, account suspension, or funds being held pending investigation.
5. Privacy & data
We collect the account information you provide (email, username, profile details) and the activity needed to run the marketplace (listings, messages between deal parties, transaction records). We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.
Deal chat messages are visible only to the buyer, seller, and Siterifty support if a dispute is opened.
Financial records tied to a completed deal are retained as required for tax and fraud-prevention purposes.
You can request an export or deletion of your account data from Settings → Data.

From listing to handshake
A step-by-step look at how buying and selling actually works on Siterifty, so there's nothing to guess at before you commit.
For Sellers

List your asset. Add your website, app, or game with real financials, tech stack, and the exact transfer method you'll use to hand it over.

Buyer pays into escrow. When someone buys, their payment is held by Siterifty — not sent to you directly — until the deal is confirmed.

Transfer the asset. Hand over the domain, source code, hosting, app store account, or game files using the method you listed.
4
Get paid. Once the buyer confirms delivery (or the dispute window closes with no issue raised), funds are released to your Siterifty balance and become withdrawable.
For Buyers

Search and compare. Browse listings by category, filter by price and revenue, and check the seller's profile, ratings, and deal history.

Purchase through escrow. Your payment is held by Siterifty, not sent straight to the seller — this is what protects you if something goes wrong.

Receive the asset. The seller transfers the domain, code, hosting access, or files using the method described in the listing.
4
Confirm delivery. Check that everything matches the listing, then confirm — this releases the held funds to the seller. If something's wrong, open a dispute instead of confirming.

Escrow & Payments
Where your money actually goes
How escrow holds funds, which fees apply, and when sellers can withdraw.
How escrow works
When a buyer pays for a listing, the money doesn't go straight to the seller. Siterifty holds it in escrow until the buyer confirms the asset was delivered as described, or the dispute window passes with no dispute opened. Only then is the balance released to the seller and marked withdrawable.
If a buyer opens a dispute before confirming, the held funds stay in escrow until support reviews the case and reaches a decision.
Payment methods
Deposits and checkout are handled through PayPal, in USD. Wallet balance, escrow holdings, and withdrawable amounts are all tracked separately in your Wallet so you can see exactly what's available versus what's still held.
Fees by plan
Siterifty takes a percentage of each completed sale. The rate depends on your seller plan — higher tiers take a smaller cut. The exact fee is always shown before you confirm a deal, so there are no surprise deductions.

Withdrawing funds
Once a sale is released from escrow, it's added to your withdrawable balance. From there you can withdraw to PayPal from your Wallet at any time — funds still held in escrow for open deals aren't available to withdraw until those deals complete.

Buying with confidence
What's covered when you buy through Siterifty, and exactly what to do if something isn't right.
What qualifies for a refund
The asset was never delivered using the transfer method stated on the listing.
What you received is materially different from the listing — e.g. fake revenue figures, missing source code, or a different tech stack than described.
The seller stops responding after payment and before delivery.
Because your payment sits in escrow rather than going straight to the seller, funds stay protected until you confirm the deal went as described — refunds come out of that same held balance, not out of pocket.
Dispute window
You have 7 days after delivery to confirm the deal or open a dispute. If you confirm, escrow releases the funds to the seller and the sale is final. If you don't act within the window and no dispute is open, the deal auto-confirms — so it's worth checking the asset promptly rather than letting the window lapse.
What to submit with a dispute
A clear description of what doesn't match the listing.
Screenshots or screen recordings showing the issue.
Copies of any messages with the seller relevant to the deal.
For financial claims, whatever evidence you have that the listing's numbers don't hold up (analytics access, exports, etc).
Open a dispute from the deal's page rather than confirming — once a deal is confirmed and funds are released, it's treated as final except in cases of proven fraud.
Buying safely
Always use Siterifty Escrow. Never wire money or pay a seller outside the platform — that forfeits your protection entirely.
Check the seller's history. A visible track record, real completed deals, and genuine reviews are the best signal of a trustworthy seller.
Be cautious with private profiles. Sellers who hide their history and reviews are harder to vet — double-check everything before you buy.
